Would you like fries with that?!

As I have a job in somewhere that isn't the most stylish or even plainly nice place to work, yes I work in McDonald's.
Obviously I have had to deal with a lot of stick, fries related jokes and being stared at in my uniform (especially when the famous cap is in presence) however (drumroll!!!) I actually sort of enjoy my job. It is a job, I know how hard it is to get a job anywhere currently, and spending 5 months unemployed (after a seasonal job in Primark) I realised how much I adore working and earning money for myself without having to get out my puppy eyes for to get money from bank of my Parents. It also means with my own money I won't waste it, I will want it to go further, get more for my money, etc.

Also if you are from the North East, you may be familiar with the Metro Centre (peak of what it looks like above) I receive discount on quite a lot of shops and restaurants thanks to my branch of Mcd's being in the building, I do feel quite lucky :)

A little thank you

This post is just a little thank you to Gem (http://www.flutterandsparkle.com/) whose little message made me smile after a horrible shift at work.
I burnt my finger twice, banged my knee off a table, and kept dropping customer's orders and have been told from one of my supervisors that I have to be retrained on my till, urgh!

Now I'm going to order a pizza for one (lonely I am so lonely) and pop Lord Of The Rings Two Towers on, sounds like a great night!

*Yes I am a nerd, my family are all Star Wars fans and I am also! :)

OOTD

Apologies again for being MIA but I'm trying to find the right things to blog about, which I thought today (as I've been shopping) to do my first outfit of the day, wooo!
It isn't anything amazing, and I wouldn't wear these pieces with the green pants but my nice black jeans were in the washing basket, bummer.
The sandals are from good old Primark, they had bright faux diamonds on them but I'm not really into glittery things, so I painted them in with black nail polish, and ta-da! Nice plain sandals. They were also meant to be £6 but went through as £4.90, which I thought was a bargain, as if £6 wasn't a cheap!

The top is one everyone has probably seen before, the infamous sleeveless button vest, which was in the sale for £10, which I thought I had to have, absolute bargain!

This is the shirt I bought but mine is in an apricot colour instead a light blue.

A few words

Apologies for my lack of posts, I haven't had anything to really blog about. A lack of money means a lack of shopping, which makes a very unhappy Sophee. However with more shifts at work coming up, finishing college in a week and  a half = more time to blog! :)

Oh My Geee we have a Mac virgin in our mists in the blogging world, horror!

Alas it is true, I have never bought anything Mac, never swatched, never even been to their counter, as my local counter is situated in the front of Fenwicks, and I find it a tad intimidating, silly I know. But I have made list of the Mac products I want the most, including the obvious and most lust after.

Getting a tad flushed

Apologies for the cringey title, but I had the urge.
You must live under a rock to not know how big Topshop's 'Neon Rose' cream blush is, however I think it doesn't really suit me, but I wanted a taste of the cream blush's, so I picked up one of their other colours, in the shade 'Flush'.

It is a beautiful pink, which sets to a natural warm colour to the cheeks, which is perfect for day time and can be layered if I desired a stronger tone for the night time.

Caving to pretty things.

This lipstick is from Boots' 17 range, which is on offer at the moment online on Boots' website. This lipstick I've chosen is in their 'mirror shine' range, in the shade 'beehive'. Its such a nice, glossy colour on the lips, however it doesn't last long, and I've heard the stick doesn't last too long, as it breaks easily. I'm also not a big fan of the packaging, bit too show-off and in your face for me.
